Server Information The testingrange.com is located at my home, in Sebastopol, California. It receives connectivity via DSL from Sonic.net.
The hardware is an Intel Pentium 100, with 80Mb of RAM and 7 gb of disk space on two drives. That is a fancy way of saying that in the year 2001, this is a piss ant little server!
It currently runs Redhat Linux 4.0. This is a perverse choice, I admit, but seems appropriate-rather like drag racing Model T's.
HTTP/FTP service, and mail service are powered by Apache, and postfix respectively.
I have a Grand Plan for my home technology. You would call this a 'roadmap to full technological immersion' if you were writing grant proposals.
